1. Reliever Request – Enhancements
We’re excited to announce new enhancements to streamline the reliever request process and improve your user experience!
Key Updates:
1. Add Notes to Reliever Profiles – While reviewing reliever requests, you can now add notes directly to a reliever’s profile. This makes it easier to keep track of relevant details for future reference.
2. Email Copy Option – When emailing a reliever to update their registration details, you can now choose to send a copy of the email to yourself. This ensures you have a record of the correspondence.
3. Mark Relievers as ‘In Review’ – A new ‘In Review’ status allows you to track profiles you’re considering. Before accepting a reliever, you can mark their profile as ‘In Review.’
4. Centralized ‘In Review’ Section – Profiles marked as ‘In Review’ are now accessible in a dedicated section. You can revisit these profiles to make final decisions on whether to accept or decline.
These updates are designed to improve efficiency and enhance your workflow when managing reliever requests.
2. Assigned Cross-Role Job Notification
This release introduces enhancements to the casual job publishing and assignment process:
- Cross-Role Job Notifications: When publishing a casual job, organizations with the appropriate settings can now notify employees across different roles via the "Notify Casual" section. This allows for a broader reach and more flexible job assignments.
- Applicant Role Warnings: If a job is published to employees in various roles, the list of applicants may include individuals from different roles than the original job role. When assigning an employee whose role differs from the published job role, the system will now display a warning, helping ensure role compatibility and job accuracy.
3. Reliever Availability Calendar in Staff Profile
We have introduced a new feature in the staff profile for easier access to an individuals calendar:
- Reliever Availability Calendar: You can now view each reliever's calendar directly within their profile. This calendar provides a clear view of:
- Days worked
- Leave days
- Availability status
This feature improves workforce visibility and planning by consolidating each staff member's schedule in one easily accessible location.
4. Reliever Information Ownership
We’ve made an important update to how reliever information is managed in StaffSync to ensure consistency and ownership across the platform.
- Previously, schools had the ability to edit primary reliever information such as name, email, and address, as well as reset relievers’ passwords.
- This functionality has been disabled for schools.
- Most relievers work across multiple schools, and it’s essential for them to maintain ownership and control over their account and personal details.
Relievers now have sole responsibility for managing their primary information, ensuring consistency across all schools they work with.
